On Friday, December 6th, I had the privilege of participating in one of the most significant events of my school journey: the farewell assembly of our 5th-grade graduating class, titled “Peter Pan”. Held at the Philadelphia Auditorium, the evening brought together parents, teachers, and classmates for a celebration filled with creativity, reflection, and nostalgia.
The assembly featured eight acts, each representing a unique aspect of our school experience:
I was honored to perform with the school’s rock band during Act VI, where we delivered an emotional rendition of the song “Te quiero”. This performance was one of the highlights of the evening, as it allowed us to connect with the audience through music and share our passion for creativity.
The assembly also featured a variety of artistic performances that showcased the talent and dedication of my classmates. The “Tusuy Dance” brought everyone together in a vibrant cultural celebration, while the theatrical adaptation of the Greek tragedy “Antigone” demonstrated our ability to tackle complex themes with maturity and artistic expression.
The energy of the evening continued with a lively performance of “Gangnam Style”, which filled the auditorium with laughter and applause. A group choreography inspired by “High School Musical” captured the spirit of teamwork and youthful enthusiasm, reminding us of the bonds we had built over the years.
The ceremony concluded with an emotional performance of “Chachachá” by Joséan Log, a heartfelt tribute to our school years. This song marked the end of an unforgettable chapter in our lives and the beginning of a new journey filled with endless possibilities.
