On Friday, October 4th, at 4:00 p.m., we celebrated the traditional Nisperada 2024 in the secondary school courtyard. Organized by the 5th-grade students and their advisors, this event aimed to foster an atmosphere of camaraderie and collaboration between students and teachers, creating an environment of fellowship outside the academic setting.

The afternoon began with a warm welcome and a reflective prayer led by Professor Roberto Flores from the Pastoral Secondary team. The event was filled with lively games and activities, such as “Musical Chairs,” “Four in a Row,” and a fun race called “Balloon Train.” These activities not only encouraged active participation but also brought moments of laughter and connection among everyone present.

As part of the Nisperada tradition, my classmates and I prepared nispero jam, a custom that unites generations of our school community. In addition, a special video prepared by our class was screened, highlighting memorable moments from our time at the school and creating a space to share stories and reminisce together.

I had the honor of performing with the 5th-grade band during the event, adding a musical touch that made the celebration even more special. Sharing this moment with my peers and our school community was an unforgettable experience, filled with joy and pride.

The day concluded with a bonfire, where participants shared testimonies, expressed gratitude, and listened to heartfelt farewell words from our director. The Nisperada 2024 was an emotional event that strengthened bonds of friendship and community among everyone in attendance, leaving cherished memories in the hearts of all of us.
